General details
M!/Malfrinko/Drawblefuss are just online aliases.

Malini is my name, and I was born on the 24th of August, 1992. On the surface, I look like a cold, bitter person. Inside, I’m not always like that. I don’t smile unneccesarily because I think that it’ll make me look…crazy. Or just mentally-ill. I guess that explains why I look demented and all. *laughs*

Tell you what, keep reading.

Ethnicity
I’m a mix of Thai and Malay (Kelantanese). I have a very little bit of Chinese blood too, which could probably explain why I have a thing for Chinese guys. Most of the time, I’d rather be known as a Thai who can’t speak Thai. I’m not too proud of being a Malay. Honestly and frankly speaking.

I currently live in Selangor, Malaysia. When I was young, I used to live in Japan and Korea. I hope to live overseas, someday.

Personality
I’m pretty much of a reserved person.
I don’t get jealous over what other people have :)
I don’t think I fit to be a Virgo, because I’m not vain and I’m very messy.
I’m very honest and modest.
I’m pretty lazy, depending on the situation. Aren’t we all?
I’ve never experienced any severe emotional problems, but of course, I do have feelings.
I’m not extremely religious.
I hate a lot of things but I’m not THAT full of hate, haha.

Facts
I’m left-handed, and my fingers are quite flexible (but not wholly flexible). I have the hitchhiker’s thumb, which bends about 90° (backwards!)
I’m sometimes claustrophobic.
I don’t really like people watching me, depending on the situation.
I can read Japanese (katana characters only) but it doesn’t mean that I can understand the whole text.
I can understand some very simple German words/phrases.
I know some weird Japanese words like itai (painful) and ippai (full)
I tend to “hide” my lips. It’s a habit.
I have 6 musical instruments in my house (excluding the school’s trombone and saxophone)
I’m slightly gourmet, but it’s too bad that I have a small stomach in me. More food for you.
I fear butterflies, plus many other flying creatures (except for birds)
I love the taste of tasty escargos. Magnifique.
I loathe pineapples.
I am [strangely] better at answering questions that contains pictures than questions that are 100% text.

Hobbies/Interests
Drawing (could be anything), playing the piano or any other instruments, some serious photography whenever there are good subjects, humour, gazing at thin air or any other nice object/subject, a bit of gaming, reading, painting, PIXAR films, sentimental films, and stacking cards! :D

Music background
I play a wide variety of instruments. I’ve taken professional classes for piano only. It’s my favourite instrument, hands down. I’m planning to take the diploma level too.

A list of main instruments that I can play:
Piano
Guitar
Bass guitar
Saxophone
Trombone
Drums
Recorder (ha freakin’ ha)

I’m not a good singer, but if you ask me to imitate a soprano Opera singer, I could do that. Plus the vibrato and all but I can’t guarantee that it’s pleasant  My vocal range is a little low for a female. No lower than the D below the middle C (on the piano)

I like British indie-rock bands. My musical influences include The Beatles (oldies, rock) and Franz Ferdinand (indie rock, slightly punkish). Whenever I listen to a song that sounds nice, I usually end up finding out that it’s by a British band. Basically, I listen to what people don’t listen to and I don’t listen to what people listen to. I hate most American songs. I love being anti-mainstream all the way.

Besides British bands, I like New Zealand’s Flight of the Conchords and Sweden’s The Hives.

My idol is the guitarist Nicholas Augustine McCarthy (of Franz Ferdinand), because I love his good sense of rhythm. Not only that, but also that strange dance he does while playing the guitar and of course, his good Britishman looks. He’s married, but I respect that fact.

Franz Ferdinand

Besides that, I absolutely love music from the baroque/classical/romantic era. I’m a Beethoven worshipper, because he seems to have a sad life story. At the same time, I also worship Schumann. I don’t understand Debussy’s music as much as I don’t understand abstract art.

No doubt that I’m very picky about music :D
