Come together

one Today is George’s Harrison’s (of the Beatles) 7th death anniversary.

The photo was taken around the 60’s-70’s (yes, THAT is a camera)…Aaaand we thought that taking photos in front of a mirror is a very new [and somewhat annoying] trend..

It’s a bit of a scary fact that his only son, Dhani Harrison, looks exactly like his father. (The rest of the Beatles kids don’t really resemble their dads)

two I got my first dress. Ja, you heard me. First. Never had one before. Maybe that’s why I never appear in formal functions, heh. The sole reason why I had to get a dress is because I will be participating in my piano competition finals next Saturday and it will be a formal event. The one and only prize is RM500 (for each category) and I will be playing this song. Fast, yes, but sometimes I think that I played much faster than that :S

Riiiight, back to the dress issue, finding one was possibly one of the hardest things I HAD TO do. Matching formal footwear is included. Why was it so hard?
- I am short and small and getting the right size was one thing.
- I had to look for those short-sleeved ones because I’d hate to go around sleeveless, not to mention the most-likely-cold room temperature.
- I would not want to wear high-heels because I am not used to walking on something that makes you want to tip-toe AND I think it is difficult to master the art of depressing the pedal with high-heels (although it’s possible). So I had to look for something 180° WITH acceptable designs.
- I am just so darn fussy in this case :P

You know, I might as well design my own dress in the future. That’s when art comes in :D

three Roughly six years ago, Astro used to have this channel called TechTV – it was about gaming, computing, robots and everything techy. Under that channel, there was this program called Eye Drops, where original animated shorts were displayed. I loved that show. Unfortunately, TechTV got removed off Astro (due to unknown reasons) but my geeky pursuit lives on. :P

There was one animation I enjoyed watching so much, and I might as well share it right here:

four A piece that took months to finish.

five Soon, I might be watching Twilight to see how bad it is :)

hey, why not opt for flats instead of heels ? i mean they ARE way more comfartable, and you can definitely stand in them for a whole entire without wanting or needing to take them off :D and mygawd, I actually thought Dhani Harrison was George Harrison at first, that was before I read the description, but still O.O he’s could pass of as GH’s twin, haha.

I settled for flats (or more like slippers :S) Something like this http://www.notus-online.com/catalog/pics/Ethenic_Slipper.jpg but with better designs. The idea is there. I was always uncertain whether slippers/sandals are categorized under flats. I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to clothing, hahaha..Correct me.

Well, you know what they always say: Like father, like son :D

There comes a time for everyone when they have to wear formal clothing…my time has arrived, HAHA. Maybe I’ll post it up here, or maybe in Facebook. We’ll see.

    And thanks!

An animator. My second option would be a character designer. (which reminds me, I better do some research to know where I could take up such courses in the future)

    Danke sehr :D

Oh, if I may ask..what’s your job?

i think when one says ‘flats’ it’s usually referred to nice shoes without heels, LOL, but I guess sandals/slippers can also be categorized under it too. Your sandals are well, more of a cross between slippers and heels, cos of that slight raise at the back, haha, but I’m sure it’s fine for a piano competition, it does look like it’ll suit a formal function :D
